About Us

Annamacharya College of Education, an unaided institution was started on 08-05-2003 with an intake of 100 students and has been continuously functioning with high quality faculty, library and infra structural facilities. Later we started M.Ed in 2006, later in 2007 D.El.Ed courses were started. The B.Ed, M.Ed Programmes are affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, A.P. From 2010 onwards affiliation is changed to Yogivemana University, Kadapa, A.P. The D.El.Ed is affiliated to Director of School Education, Govt. A.P.

The college is located in pleasant locality which is nearer to Thallapaka, the birth place of “The singing saint Annamacharya” on Chennai-Mumbai highway and well connected by road and train. It is about 5kms from Rajampet town and 55 Kms by road from Kadapa. The nearest Railway station is at Rajampet.

About Annamacharya Educational Trust

The Annamacharya Educational Trust is established in the year 1997 with the object of promoting quality education by starting various courses to impart futuristic Education and install high patterns of discipline. The mission of the promoting body of the trust is to provide quality education to the needy students of rural/backward areas with industrial needs. The trust proposes to establish some more technical & non technical institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

Annamacharya College of Education was established in the year 2003 by Annamacharya Educational Trust and offering B.Ed Course in the motto of serving rural people and to give good Education. The college admitted its first batch of students in the academic year 2003-04. In 2006 M.Ed Course was started with intake of 25 and now it is extended to 50 seats. Later in 2007 D.El.Ed courses were started with intake of 50 students and now with the intake of 100 students per year. From 2019 we got the permission to start English Medium in D.El.Ed course with intake of 50 students.

The Annamacharya College of College at Rajampet is attracting students from all over states because of its systematical conduct of classes and standard procedures followed with well qualified staff and maintaining student’s staff ratio as per approval authorities.

Completing his Masters in Commerce and being selected in APPSC Group-II, Shri C. Gangi Reddy garu served as a Sub Registrar in the registration department of AP Government in his initial days. He, later became the District Registrar for Ranga Reddy district in the year 2005 and took voluntary retirement in the year 2009.

Gangi Reddy strongly believed in the statement that education brings obedience, and as one is growing-up, he/she must be more obedient. Most of the time, people believe in helping others by providing financial help. But he believes in moulding others in a manner that they can earn a decent living for themselves. This was the idea which paved the way for the establishment of many educational institutions. Though the idea was not limited to merely establishing them, but extended to building them up on the foundation of high standards, through effective implementation of rules and regulations.

The State Government of Andhra Pradesh conferred on him “RayalaseemaRatna” award in recognition of his commitment to uplift the rural region of Rayalaseema, by means of providing top-class education. C. Gangi Reddy also received the coveted Edupreneur Award 2013, in the award ceremony held in New Delhi, presided over by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Former Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development. Shri Reddy received the award for his outstanding contribution towards engineering education in the JNTU Anantapur region. He is the first person from Kadapa District to receive this honour.

C. Abhishek Reddy is the Treasurer of AITS. He specialized in International Marketing and Project from UK, has been working vigorously to uplift of the students in the region. Being an advisor for an MNC (Halifax Bank of Scotland) in London, he understands the world affairs. With this expertise, he has initiated to build a system in Annamacharya Group.

Shri. Abhishek Reddy is also the student coordinator, and has visited several countries: France, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, Germany, Belgium, US, to understand their educational culture, and took home with him the best learning from all these countries. He strives to implement them in Annamacharya Institutions, thus redefining the concept of education.

Adding to these, he is also an alumni of the London School of Economics and Political Science with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership. His entrepreneurial mind-set is constantly shown in his attempt to establish robust relationships with corporate to enhance Industry- Academia interface.

He is passionate about executing technologies to enhance the performance at different levels. He is focused to cultivate a research ethos and discipline that nurtures students for personality development and knowledge enhancement. Not just limiting to this, Abhishek Reddy also encourages indoor and outdoor activities to enliven students’ education during their stay at the institute.

Dr. B. Jayarami Reddy is a dedicated educationist. He received M.Sc Degree from Sri Venkateswara University. Tirupathi in 1993 and got Master of Education (M.Ed) in 1997 from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, Subsequently, he received his Ph.D in Education in the year 2010.

Dr. Jayaramireddy has an overall 25 years experience as a Lecturer and as well as principal. Present he is one of the members in Board of Studies in Education at Yogivemana University, Kadapa, and working as a NCTE VT member and attended various workshops and conferences. He published five research papers in reputed national journals and Two International Journals. He guided more than 100 M.Ed students from 2007 to 2019 in research.
